Global Village Gifts is hosting a Night for Nepal on Friday, July 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. Everyone is invited to join raising money for the Nepalese people as they continue to struggle to rebuild after the devastating earthquakes which ravaged their country earlier this year.

Those attending can enjoy henna art, belly dancing, yummy food and great company on the Global Village patio. All of the proceeds from the henna art and a portion of the proceeds for the entire evening will go directly to the Nepalese people to aid in re-building their homes and workplaces.

According to executive director Beth McEvoy, earthquakes hit Nepal in April and May killing over 9,000 people and causing over $5 billion in damage. She says, “anything we can do will help someone in need.”
