Sunshine Terrace Foundation hosting Croquet Tournament and Lawn Party

The Sunshine Terrace Foundation is hosting a Croquet Tournament and Lawn Party on Saturday, June 13th at the old Crookston Homestead in North Logan. It’s a fundraiser for the foundation and also a great chance to meet the new Chief Executive Officer, Bryan Erickson.

Erickson has only been in Logan for about six weeks but he says he has loved Sunshine Terrace since he worked there as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) while he attended Utah State University.

Erickson says the croquet party is to celebrate 66 years of caring and healing in Cache Valley and the event is a fundraiser as well.

”It’s going to be a lawn party, play croquet; anybody can play croquet. It will be a fun event and we look forward to making it an annual event in the future.”

Erickson says the Croquet Tournament will be from 1 to 4 p.m. and teams of six players will compete in lightning round play where the fastest team to complete all the courses wins. There will also be prizes for best hat, best costume and more.

The entertainment will include the All That Jazz quintet, the My Three Sons trio and interactive close-up magic by deceptionist and Sunshine Terrace Foundation board member Richard Hatch.
