Council says goodbye to Lemon with special presentation

<span class=”aBn”><span class=”aBn”>Tuesday’s</span></span><span class=”aBn”> meeting of the Cache County Council was the last that Lynn Lemon would be attending after almost 20 years as County Executive. A special presentation honoring Lemon was prepared by his executive secretary Janeen Allen and Council Chairman Val Potter thanked Lemon for his service.</span>

<span>”We appreciate everything you’ve done all the years, 20 years as Executive but all the years before that, too,” Potter said. “You’ve put up with a lot.</span>

<span>”We haven’t always been involved in all the conversations you’ve had with residents but we’ve caught a few of them. You’ve done a marvelous job for Cache County.”</span>

<span>Lemon expressed appreciation to all the people and organizations he has worked with through the years and said he has always tried to do what was best for the county. He said he will miss the associations and just may decide to come back and offer to be a, “volunteer for Craig.”</span>

<span>Lemon will be replaced by Craig Buttars who is now a member of the county council. Councilmembers thanked Buttars for the work he has done in that capacity.</span>
