LOGAN — An elderly woman was found dead Tuesday morning, outside a senior living center in North Logan.
Police and paramedics were called to Pioneer Valley Lodge after a man called 911 saying he had found the 91-year-old woman outside.
The woman’s identity has not been released.
North Park Police Chief Kim Hawkes said the woman was a resident of the center. She was reportedly dressed, had her purse and appeared to be going out for a walk.
Investigators are unsure of the cause of death or how long her body was outside, before being found.
Hawkes said the incident doesn’t appear suspicious. The woman’s body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the time and cause of death.
Police cordoned off the southwest corner of the center as they conducted an investigation.
