At the beginning of September they could see that the literal winds of change would be here soon. So the Cache Humane Society decided to undertake a project to help their shelter west of Logan prepare for winter.
Fundraising coordinator Cath Manrikue said the goal is to raise $6500 by Thanksgiving Day with matching funds to raise it to $13,000. As of Wednesday afternoon they were very close at $6,381.
Manrikue said there are many ways to donate.
“Mainly online, they can (donate) on Facebook,” she explained. “We’ve got a tab that says ‘Winter Warmer.’ People can click on that and donate via PayPal or through our webpage site at www.cachehumane.org.”
There are, of course, other ways to help the mission of the Cache Humane Society. One event coming up is the Benefit Brunch on December 14th at Birch Creek Golf Course in Smithfield. You can find out more at CacheHumane.org.
