Nikki Ross Wilson

<span>Nicolyn (Nikki) Ross Wilson, age 86, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at home in Logan, Utah.  She was born April 15, 1928, in Seattle, Washington, to John Alexander Strang Ross and Margaret Caroline Provine.  She married Wayne Larsen Wilson on February 14, 1947, in Seattle.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in 1957.</span>

<span>After their marriage, the couple lived in Salt Lake City; Oak Ridge, TN; and returned to the Seattle area, where they lived on a 19-acre farm in Redmond, WA, for over 50 years.  Nikki took on the responsibilities of farm life and helped in teaching their five children to work and play. She enjoyed homemaking, trips to the ocean, hiking, handwork, and any activities that involved her family.</span>

<span>In 1996, she and Wayne moved to North Logan, UT, to be closer to their children.  </span>

<span>Nikki was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, faithfully serving in various capacities in the Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society. She worked in the name extraction program for many years.</span>

<span>Nikki is survived by her husband Wayne, of Logan; their five children, Rolayne Wilson of Logan, UT; Clyde (Bonnie) Wilson of Redmond, WA; Ross (Robin) Wilson of Riverton, UT; Shauna (Tom) Fairbanks of Logan, UT. Their son Brent (Kaye) Wilson of Lyman, WY, passed away in 2004.  She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Janet Ross Wilson, of Rigby, ID.  She was predeceased by her brother, Leighton Ross.</span>

<span>Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Nyman Funeral Home.  A viewing will be held Thursday, November 13, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Nyman Funeral Home, 585 West 100 North, Providence, Utah.  Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14, at 11 a.m. in the Greenfield Ward chapel, 250 West 1200 North, Logan, Utah, with a viewing beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Interment will be November 15, at 11 a.m. in Pratt Cemetery, Alta, Wyoming.
