LOGAN — A trial has been set for a 38-year-old Logan man, accused of raping an underage girl.

Drew Andersen appeared in 1st District Court Monday afternoon. Judge Kevin Allen scheduled a four day trial to begin January 6.

Anderson faces six counts of rape, a first-degree felony. He was arrested August 29, after confessing to raping an underage girl more than a dozen times.

In September Anderson waived his right to a preliminary hearing as attorneys attempted to work out a plea agreement.

Anderson has been ordered to appear again in court November 17. He is being held in the Cache County Jail on a $120,000 bail.
