Republican Craig McCallister is no longer the only candidate for Cache County Treasurer.  McCallister defeated Deputy Treasurer Denise Lindsay in the Primary election and he is now working as temporary treasurer while Lindsay is on medical leave.

Now, however, a Smithfield businessman, Tyler Pitcher, has filed for the office  as an independent candidate. Pitcher is the manager of the Olive Garden Restaurant in Logan. He is also treasurer of the Cache County Republican Party.
