<span>Two public hearings are scheduled for the meeting of the Cache County Council to be held Tuesday, August 12 at 5 p.m. in the Historic Cache County Court House.  </span>

<span>One is a public hearing on a proposed property tax increase for 2014 in the amount of five percent. The other hearing is on a rezone request from Steven Russell who wants to rezone 16.6 acres of land from agricultural to Rural 2 in College Ward.</span>

<span>An external audit report for 2013 will be presented and there will be a report on the road department. Also scheduled are discussions on several issues including the Land Water Conservation Fund, a concept plan for a Cache Recreational Complex, funding for an Airport parking lot and by-mail  balloting for the November election.</span>
