The Cache County Idol winners for 2014 top the entertainment schedule at the Cache County Fair today. Entertainment coordinator Helen Cooper says they will perform at 5 p.m. Prior to Cache County Idol, Unhinged Paradise will perform at 2 p.m.

Just Friends are scheduled for 6 p.m. and Rough Stock will close out the evening at 8 p.m.

Cooper says this year’s headliner is country music star Mark Wills who has to his credit six studio albums, five compilation albums, one live album and 22 singles.

She says other big names like Suzie Bogus and Doug Stone have been here in the recent years.

“We’ve never had that before,” Cooper says. “We’ve always had local entertainment. These groups have been a real plus for the fair.

“Mark wanted to do his show earlier on. He’s doing a lot of fairs in the area in the state. He needs to get moving on and get to the next fair.”

Cooper says Wills will take the fairground stage Saturday from 7-9 p.m.
