Gov. Herbert visiting several Cache Valley locations Tuesday

Gov. Gary R. Herbert will make Cache Valley his work place for the day today. The governor will visit local businesses, Utah State University and meet with county and city leaders.

His first visit will be to Caffe Ibis Coffee Roasting Company to honor the owners for their willingness to participate in the UCAIR and the Dept. of Workforce Services Air Assist Grant program. Caffe Ibis purchased afterburners for their coffee roaster that will reduce emissions by 95 percent.

Herbert will then visit EK Ekcessories in Nibley, the USU Department of Agriculture, Al’s Sporting Goods and then spend approximately three hours with the Bear River Association of Government from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at 615 S. Riverwoods Parkway in Logan.
