Inaugural festival features stories, music, magic and puppetry

The city of North Logan is hosting its first annual <a href=”http://cachefest.com/_/Cache_Valley_Storytelling_Festival.html” target=”_blank”>Cache Storytelling Festival</a> <span class=”aBn”><span class=”aQJ”>Saturday, June 7</span></span> and the free event will feature storytellers, musicians, magic and puppetry.

Professional storyteller Wayne McKay says there will be food vendors and a story store featuring books and CD’s of the performers. Among the storytellers are Teresa Clark, Ted Erekson, Omar and Lori Hansen, Clive Romney, Nanette Watts, magician Richard Hatch and puppeteers Paul and Carla Schultz and Susan Neidert.

Attendees who have a story to tell are invited to sign up early for the “story exchange” featuring youth and adult tellers from 6 to 7 p.m. The festival itself is from 12 <span class=”aBn”><span class=”aQJ”>noon</span></span> to 10 p.m. at Elk Ridge Park in North Logan.
