Little Bloomsbury Festival features music, storytelling and even a mystery artist

The eighth annual Little Bloomsbury Festival of Art, Music and Storytelling opens Thursday and continues through Saturday. Executive director Dr. Brenda Sun says works of over 20 artists ages 11 to 75 with varied backgrounds will be on view.

Sun says there is a special concert each evening and Thursday it is Magic and Storytelling by the Hatch Academy of Magic and Music and the Utah Story Guild. Friday is a harp concert by Paige Christensen. And on Saturday there will be a special performance by a yet-to-be-revealed pianist.

“On Saturday at 6:30 we have piano music by Gershwin and other composers, compositions by the pianist himself,” Sun says. “We have received permission from the organization that the pianist belongs to, but for reasons we can only reveal at the concert we are not able to disclose his name.

“But he is an amazing pianist and he does his own compositions too.”

Sun says he will be able to reveal his name at the concert. Sun says the festival is held at 181 North 200 East in Logan.
