USU’s Society of Physics Students presents ‘MythBusters’

LOGAN – Myth or Fact: Can a penny dropped from the top of the Empire State Building kill someone?

This assertion and more will be tested Friday, April 11, at “SPS MythBusters,” an event hosted by Utah State University’s Society of Physics Students chapter. The gathering, free and open to all, begins at 7 p.m. in the Eccles Science Learning Center Emert Auditorium, Room 130, on the USU Logan campus.

The presentation is modeled on the popular Discovery Channel television series, MythBusters. Hands-on learning activities follow the presentation, where attendees can test experiments on their own.
