Easter Egg Hunt and Bark in the Park 5k

NORTH LOGAN – North Logan City is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 12th. Parks and Recreation Director Jordan Oldham said the hunt starts at 11 am at Elk Ridge Park.

On KVNU’s Crosstalk show Thursday, Oldham said a new event called Bark in the Park 5k and one mile run will be held for the Cache Humane Society starting at 8 am. The dog owner can enter with or without a dog. Oldham said North Logan is dog-friendly.

“This is the first time we’ve actually held a 5k in Elk Ridge Park with the dogs. We’re really excited about that,” he expressed. “I think it will really bring people into the park and get them excited for the Easter Egg Hunt. Our Easter Egg Hunt is huge. We want to make sure everyone is there at 11 o’clock sharp.”

Everyone is invited to participate and it is a fundraiser for the Humane Society.
