LOGAN — A Canadian couple was hospitalized after a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 15 in Idaho, Tuesday afternoon. The accident occurred at milepost 26, near the Malad Summit.
Idaho State Police report Gordon Carson, 77, of Alberta, Canada, was northbound on I-15 in a 2010 GMC Acadia. He lost control of the vehicle and went off the road into the median, where the vehicle came to a rest on its side.
ISP reports Carson and his passenger, Maureen Carson, 72, were transported to the Portneuf Medical Center by ground ambulance as a precautionary measure. Both were wearing their seatbelts.
The crash remains under investigation.
