LOGAN – Warm temperatures and rain flooded homes in parts of Cache Valley over the weekend. Neighbors in Nibley and Wellsville were helping each other sandbag and clear out standing water Saturday.
Wellsville City Manager Don Hartle said 50 to 60 homes reported flooding over the weekend.
Saturday and Sunday, Wellsville’s fire department was called out to fill sandbags and try and divert water from homes.
The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of rain and snow to continue this week.
