Bear River routes Ben Lomond 71-33

Bear River came out slow but pulled away to route <span>the Ben Lomond Scots 71-33. The Bears were able to get their offense going in the first quarter but the Scots kept with them only trailing by five until midway through the second quarter.</span>

<span>That’s when Jared Olsen took the game over going six for six from the 3 point line, including one from outside his own zip code, and the Bears all of a sudden found themselves up at 28-13 at the half.  </span>

<span>Bear River continued to pour it on in the third as their lead ballooned up to 47-19 heading into the final frame. The Bears continued to rain down on Garland with one 3 after another. In all they hit 14 3 pointers, good for fourth place in the Utah High School record book in 3’s made as a team in one game.  </span>

<span>Jared Olsen finished with 18, and Parker Lewis chipped in with 15, along with three other Bears who finished in double digits. The Bears now will take their hot shooting against Stansbury next Wednesday night at 7 p.m. </span>
