Final Gallery Walk of 2013

LOGAN – A great way to celebrate the holiday season is to participate in the Gallery Walk hosted by the Cache Valley Center for the Arts. The Center’s Marketing Director Amanda Castillo says the final Gallery Walk for 2013 will be held Friday, December 13th from 6 to 9 pm. Castillo says nothing beats bundling up and walking downtown during the festive month to enjoy Christmas lights, gingerbread houses, free entertainment, food and most importantly, artwork by featured artists.

“I mean when people think about a Gallery Walk, what I love about it is the variety. You go out and you’ll be able to see works by Jerry Fuhriman and his fantastic landscapes. He’s doing a small art workshow over at Fuhriman’s Framing and Fine Art,” said Castillo. “You’ll be able to see that and then you’ll go next door and see origami. That’s what I think is neat about it. No matter what you love or the type of media that draws you in, each location is a new experience.”

On KVNU’s Crosstalk show on Wednesday, Castillo said you can start your walk at any location. There is an official yellow banner at participating galleries.
