Cyclists and support crews descend upon Logan for LOTOJA

Approximately 4,500 cyclists, volunteers and support crews have been making their way to Logan where they will participate in the 31st annual LOTOJA, a 206 mile bike race from Logan to Jackson Hole, Wyoming on Saturday.

Co-founder Dave Bern says the riders come from all over the world and traditionally involves riders of all abilities. Last year 11 riders broke the nine-hour barrier and another competitive field is expected this year.

Riders have learned that because of the popularity of the race some major changes have been made in the first leg of the race. Organizers have also separated the competitive racers from the those who are riding for fun or as part of a relay.
