WILLARD – Searchers have found the body of a man who disappeared while riding a personal watercraft at Willard Bay.
State parks officials say sonar technology was used to find the body of 32-year-old Brigham Bradley in about 10 feet of water late Saturday afternoon.
They say the Weber County Jail employee was off duty and riding with friends when his watercraft tipped over and stalled Friday afternoon.
He stayed on top of it while his friends went to get towing equipment. When his friends returned about 10 minutes later, they found the craft but no sign of Bradley. He was not wearing a life jacket.
Parks officials say it’s a reminder that boaters should always wear a life jacket.
His body was found in the area where he was last seen.
