Missing teen found safe

ALPINE, Utah – An Alpine family is grateful after their 16-year-old daughter, Indica Huddleston, was found after being missing for one week.

Indica Huddleston was last seen at 6 p.m. Friday, August 16, at The Junction gas station in Alpine. Friends dropped her off at the station and she indicated she would walk home. They later found a note in her room indicating she was frustrated, and would be taken care of. A search of her phone and Facebook records show she was in communication with several unknown individuals and may have been enticed to meet them.

Additional details are not available on the circumstances surrounding how she was located, but according to the family, police have confirmed she was found in the Salt Lake area at approximately 5:30 pm Friday night.

Her family has asked for privacy as they reunite with their daughter, but expressed gratitude to all those who helped in the search for Indica.
