Best of the Blotter: July 1-7

<strong>Sun Jul 07</strong> Report of a care giver not giving the complainant a cigarette. Officers responded and spoke with the complainant about proper 911 use and explained this was not a police matter as no dispute had occurred.

<strong>Sun Jul 07</strong> Report of an individual acting in a disorderly manner at a residence in Logan; family members were with him and it was determined he was trying to sleep off the effects of alcohol. No criminal activity noted.

<strong>Thu Jul 04</strong> Officers responded to a report of an impending gang fight. The complainant was found to be intoxicated and delusional.

<strong>Thu Jul 04</strong> Officers received a complaint of sprinklers coming on at Lundstrom Park while watching the fireworks. Logan Light and Power was contacted and notified of the complaint. Logan Light and Power stated they would work on turning the sprinklers off.

<strong>Tue Jul 02</strong> This is a report of four sheep in a field without any afternoon shade.

<strong>Mon Jul 01</strong> The complainant called in a stalking incident. The complainant stated her upstairs neighbor every time he leaves looks at her through the open blinds and flips her off. I informed the complainant there is nothing criminal with what the male is doing. The complainant requested I speak with the male. I have not been able to contact the male at this time. I will try tomorrow to contact the male.

<strong>Mon Jul 01</strong> The complainant called in to request officers stand by while a grandmother picked up his children from their mother’s residence due to disheartened neighbors. Officers did so and no further problems came about.

<strong>Mon Jul 01</strong> Officers responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically. The complainant stated she observed a vehicle driving southbound on Main Street with a female sitting on the hood. Officers located the vehicle, but observed no illegal activity.
