Everyone got in on the action for the Smithfield Blue Sox in a 19-0 win over Hyrum on Monday.
The Blue Sox pushed 13 runs across the plate in the third inning and scored in every inning except the fifth in a route of the Hornets.
Brandt Reese tallied four RBI’s on four hits and Dallin Godfrey added three RBI’s on two doubles as the Blue Sox improved to 3-4 in Northern Utah League play and 6-4 overall, while Hyrum fell to 0-5.
Smithfield turns right around to travel to Brigham City on Tuesday, while Hyrum will look to regroup against the Peaches on Wednesday. Both games are scheduled for 7:30.
Brigham City Peaches 4, Logan Royals 3
Playing to keep pace atop the league standings, Logan found itself up-ended by the Peaches to fall to 6-2 overall. Brigham City improved to 2-5.
Logan looks to get back on top of the standings when the Royals host league leader Providence on Tuesday at 7:30.
