LOGAN – Starting Monday, June 3rd. the Cache Valley Transit District will begin a remodeling project of the main bus transit center at 500 North 150 East in downtown Logan. Todd Beutler, the district’s general manager, says for approximately a month the major construction will require CVTD bus operations to temporarily re-locate into the middle of 500 North, between 100 East and 200 East while the major improvements are being made at the transit center.
“What we want to do is let the public know that the transit center will be closed,” Beutler said. “They’ll still have access to the inside, which is the restrooms and things of that nature but the plaza and all of that will be closed.
“We actually have worked with Logan City. They’ve been a great partner in this. We’ve got permission to close down 500 North between 100 and 200 East to traffic and that will be where the buses are staging.”
