Early voting ends Friday at 5 p.m. Cache County Clerk Jill Zollinger says by 9 a.m. Friday morning 10,365 early votes had been cast.
Tuesday, November 6 is election day and those voting need to make sure they have identification, either a driver’s license (or other form of identification with the voter’s name and picture) or two forms of identification, one with the voter’s name on it and another that proves the voter lives in the precinct they are going to vote at.
Zollinger says even without those you can vote a provisional ballot on election day.
“We look at all the provisional ballots after election night because we have to have that time. Voters who don’t have proper identification at the polls they can still vote a provisional ballot. However, the provisional ballot will not count unless the voter provides identification to the clerk by the closing of Monday following election day.”
