The Bear River Bears got back to it’s winning ways with a 21-0 victory over the Grantsville Cowboys, making the Bears homecoming weekend a happy one. Once a again it was the defense who stood out in the spotlight forcing a jaw dropping eight turnovers (six interceptions, two fumbles).
Tyson Prong had two picks while Tyler Rasmussen had another pick as well. The offense started off hot scoring on two straight drives before sputtering for the next 2 1/2 quarters.
Jeramie Selman would then put the nail in the coffin scoring on a 32 yard run with less than a minute remaining in the game to cap off the scoring. The Bears have short rest as they travel to Snow College to take on the Pine View Panthers next Thursday at 3 p.m.
