Romney campaign bus visiting Logan

The Romney bus is coming. That’s right, the Mitt Romney campaign bus will be in Logan at 5 p.m. Tuesday according to Amber Pugmire, director of the Romney Victory Office in Logan. Romney himself, however, will not be visiting.

The Romney for President bus will be stopping at the Victory Office at 1451 North 200 East in Logan. Pugmire says the bus will be there for three hours and the public is invited to come in and see what kind of volunteer work they can do to help with the Romney campaign.

She says some local and state elected officials will be there along with campaign materials. The Romney bus will then be at Utah State University from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. The bus will be parked between the Taggart Student Center and the Logan LDS Institute.

Pugmire says Romney has a lot of support here in Utah but volunteers are especially needed to help in the so-called “swing states.”

The campaign bus will be making multiple stops throughout Utah, including Midvale (9 a.m. Tuesday at the Midvale Victory Office), Layton (2 p.m. Tuesday at Staples), Draper (12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cafe Rio), Orem (5 p.m. Wednesday at the Orem Victory Office), Cedar City (12 p.m. Thursday at Southern Utah University), and St. George (4:30 p.m. at Dixie State College).
