Bears romp over Ogden Tigers

What a difference a halftime with adjustments being planned can make. After a rocky first half and a 14-7 halftime lead for Bear River, the Bears exploded in the third quarter for 30 unanswered points and an emphatic 44-7 win over the Ogden Tigers.

The 44 points against Ogden could be a good sign. The last time Bear River put up 40+ points against the Tigers was 2006 (43-0) and that was the last time Bear River won a 3A state title.

They also did so in 2001, 2003, and 2004…all those years being state title years. The Bear River Bears will take their momentum to Ben Lomond where they face the very lowly Scots next Friday night at 7 p.m.
