Entries still available for Stomp the Mud

There is still time to sign up for the Stomp the Mud Jailbreak 2012. The event is a fundraiser for the Child and Family Support Center coming up Saturday, August 11 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Cache County Sheriffs Complex, 1225 Valley View Drive in Logan.

Center executive director Esterlee Molyneaux says people can come for the race or just for the fun. The Sheriffs office, she said, is helping to make this a day people won’t forget.

“We’ve got the most creative human pyramid and the longest wheel barrel races,” Molyneaux said on a recent Crosstalk program on KVNU. She continued by saying there will be, “costume contests and great prizes from great vendors in our community who believe in the mission of the center. They are doing their part to support our efforts to keep our community safe and free from child abuse.”

She says there’s even a mini-mud run for the kids. For more information or to register go to www.StompTheMud.com or call 752-8880.
