USU Agriculture student receives American Society for Horticultural Science scholarship

A senior majoring in plant science and biology at Utah State University will receive the American Society For Horticultural Science Scholar Award at the ASHS annual conference on Tuesday, July 31 in Miami, Florida.

Kevin Cope has worked closely with Bruce Bugbee, professor of crop physiology, Larry Rupp, professor of ornamental horticulture and extension specialist as well as Daniel Drost, professor of horticultre and extension vegetable specialist to further develop his research skills and techniques.  

Cope says it’s because of the dedication and time spent with these three professors that he was able to get to where he is today.
