LOGAN—Dr. Jill Biden, second lady of the United States, is coming to Utah Tuesday. She will visit with Utah National Guard Airmen, soldiers and families from 6-7:15 p.m. at the Utah Air National Guard Base in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Biden will be in Utah to raise awareness for Joining Forces, a national initiative that mobilizes all sectors of society to give service members and their families the support and opportunities they have earned.
According to the White House, Jill Biden is a military mom who understands firsthand how difficult it can be to have a loved one deployed overseas. As second lady, Biden has dedicated herself to shining a light on military families’ strength and courage, as well as the challenges that they face. The event is not open to the public.
