A combination Town Hall Meeting and Family Night with U.S. Republican Senate Candidate Dan Liljenquist is coming up on Monday, June 4 and Planning Coordinator Michelle Elder says it’s a great opportunity to meet the candidate, ask questions and learn what he’s all about. Elder says the big event starts at 6:30 p.m. and everyone’s invited.
“We’re holding it on the square of the courtyard right outside of the old (Cache County) courthouse,” Elder says. “We’re asking people to bring their chair. We’ll have a fun event and it’s an opportunity for people to get to know more about Dan.
Elder says that while Liljenquist has done some great things in his political career, there are still some in the state who are not as familiar with him as they ought to be.
“I’ve met a lot of people who are undecided because they didn’t really know a lot about him. So this is an opportunity for them to figure it out.”
Liljenquist is challenging longtime U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch in the June 26 Republican primary election. Elder says this is a chance to learn what Liljenquist has done as a state senator and what he plans to do for the people as a U.S. Senator.
