An accident on SR 89/91 sent one car through a fence and into the marshes of the Logan River Golf Course Friday afternoon. A 45-year-old male from American Fork was driving a Dodge Durango North on SR 89/91 at about 12:15 p.m. A second driver in a Nissan Titan turned left from 1200 South onto SR 89/91 in front of the Durango, causing the Durango to swerve. The vehicles collided, and the Durango ended up breaking through the golf course fence. The Durango had two passengers, both of which were in their eighties. These two passengers were sent to Logan Regional Hospital to be checked for injuries, but neither sustained life-threatening injuries. Neither of the drivers were injured.
