Autopsy planned in Downey-area shooting death

POCTELLO, Idaho (AP) – Officials in southeastern Idaho are still investigating the weekend shooting death of a 46-year-old man.Bannock County Sheriff Lorin Nielsen says an autopsy was planned Monday afternoon the body of Paul Danielson, who was shot late Friday night at his house on U.S. Highway 91, about 10 miles south of Downey.Danielson’s 12-year-old son is in custody at the Bannock County Juvenile Detention Center. He was expected to appear for a detention hearing on Tuesday.
