Secrets of successful marriages revealed at Dinner Date Night

In honor of Utah Marriage Week, Utah State University Extension in Cache County is teaming up with the Utah Commission on Marriage to host “Dinner Date Night” next Tuesday, February 21. Adrie Roberts, of the Cache County Extension office, says it starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Sky Room of the USU Taggart Student Center and the event is popular with all age groups.”We get USU students,” Roberts says. “We get some of our senior citizens who like to come, middle aged folks like me, 30-something people. My speakers always say, ‘My goodness this is a huge age range.’ So everyone is welcome and the speakers seem to be able to speak to every age group.”Roberts says the speaker this year is USU Extension Family and Human Development Professor Linda Skogrand who will present a workshop on “The Secrets of Successful Marriages.” The cost is just $8 per person or $15 per couple and for students $6 per person or $10 per couple.
