For those who didn’t get enough chocolate on Valentine’s Day, the 6th annual Bear Lake Chocolate Festival will have more than enough to go around, including a large variety of candy and a chocolate fountain.”There will be a lot of good samples,” festival coordinator Vanessa Longfellow said. The festival runs 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at the Garden City Town Hall. It will showcase local food, candy and craft vendors. The festival is known as the winter Raspberry Days. With Presidents Day weekend, Longfellow said the Bear Lake area is often full of winter sports fans and their snowmobiles making it the perfect time for the festival. For a suggested donation of $1 or a can of food to go to the food pantry, guests will enter a world of chocolate and crafts. This year, so many vendors applied to have space at the festival that there is a waiting list. The event is sponsored by the Bear Lake Chamber of Commerce. – email@example.com
