It is not too late to get a flu shot according to the Bear River Health Department. The department has a limited number of flu vaccines, including flu mist and high dose that are free for anyone.Lisa Perkins, Influenza Program Director, says there are people in the community who would like a flu shot for themselves or their children and have not been able to receive one because of the cost. Perkins says this is a great opportunity that is not available every year.Flu shots are available at the Bear River Health Department Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information call 792-6500.
