Exploring the cultural and historical heritage of the Americas is the next subject of Utah State University’s Museum of Anthropology and it’s “Saturdays at the Museum” activity. The featured guest is USU History department faculty member James Sanders who is featured Saturday, December 10 in two presentations, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sanders will discuss Spanish exploration and conquest of the Americas and the impact that Spanish explorers had on American heritage. Along with learning about what the Spanish brought to America. visitors are invited to grind flour, learn how to write in Mayan glyphs and make and decorate ships.
