Horse-drawn carriage rides in Logan available through December

The Logan Downtown Alliance is inviting families to take a ride back in time on Saturdays in December. Downtown Manager Gary Saxton said there are plenty of window displays, Christmas lights and Parade of Gingerbread Houses through the downtown district. This year, horse-drawn carriage rides are available. Starting at 2 p.m. each Saturday, carriage rides will begin taking guests on an old fashioned carriage ride looping around the tabernacle and LDS temple. The entire loop takes approximately 15 minutes and costs 4 dollars for children and students, 7 dollars for adults or 25 dollars for a family or group. Reservations can be made by calling 640-8808. Tickets can also be purchased at the staging area, 50 North 100 East.
