It’s a serious subject, the occurrence of genocide-rape in Rwanda, and that is the foundation for the next presentation at the Utah State University’s Museum of Anthropology. For the “Saturdays at the Museum” on Saturday, December 3 the featured guest will be faculty member Maggie Zraly who has studied survivors and will share their stories, documenting the emotions and trauma that occurred in Rwanda. Zraly’s presentations will be at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Documentaries about Rwanda will be shown throughout the day. Event organizers invite everyone to come learn about the fight against violence in Rwanda. Museum guests are invited to add their ideas of peace to the museum’s Rwanda Peace Basket.
