“STOMP” the international sensation made its Logan premiere at the Ellen Eccles Theatre in downtown Logan Tuesday night. Another performance is scheduled for Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. Wally Bloss, executive director of the Cache Valley Center for the Arts, says from its beginnings as a street performance in the United Kingdom, STOMP has grown to an international sensation having performed in over 240 cities in 36 countries. “They take trash can lids, they take trash cans, they take Zippo lighters, they take all kinds of mechanical things and do a percussion process with them,” Bloss said. “It’s really a fun show. If you’ve not heard of it it’s worth seeing.” Bloss says families attending STOMP are invited to the Bullen Center between 6 p.m. and 7:15 for a pre-show recycled instrument activity.
