Friends and family of Justin Hobbs invite everyone to gather with them Saturday at the original Nibley Elementary School for an event designed to raise funds to help pay for his mounting medical expenses. On his way home from work Sept. 3 Justin was involved in a head-on collision in Box Elder County. He was life-flighted to an Ogden hospital with serious multiple injuries. He has been through two surgeries and faces more to repair damage sustained in the accident. “At 4 p.m. there will be a preview of an auction, bake sale and the boutique craft items that are for sale,” said Tara Stokes, Justin’s aunt. “A spaghetti dinner will start at 5:00 then the actual auction at 7:00.” She said for the entertainment of children what are called Bounce House Toys (or blow up toys) will be provided for them to climb on. Tickets for Saturday’s event are available in advance at the Nibley City Office and at Nibley Elementary. Tara Stokes said donations will also be accepted at any Zion’s Bank branch.
