UDOT Region One Road Construction Report for September 22-October 8, 2011

Ogden– The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) advises motorists of the following road construction and maintenance activities that may cause traffic impacts in the state’s Northern Region: Davis County Centerville Sept 30-Oct 8: Work is nearly complete on the construction of an auxiliary lane on north-bound I-15, between the 500 West on-ramp in Bountiful, and Parrish Lane. Most of the work is now off of the main roadway, though lanes may occasionally be restricted to facilitate completion of the construction work. Pages Lane continues to be closed or restricted where it passes under I-15 due to Davis County storm drain work. That closure may extend beyond the completion of UDOT’s work on the auxiliary lane. Motorists should pay attention to advance warning signs and move to the left when directed by them to do so. For more information about this project, contact the project team at 801-448-2930, e-mail I-15parrishlane@vox-creative.com, or visit the project website at http://udot.utah.gov/main/f?p=100:pg:0:::1:T,V:3424. Bountiful Sept 30-Oct 8: Restorative work on the concrete underpass on 500 West (US-89) underneath the Bamberger Bridge (SR-68) at 200 South in Bountiful is underway. This work will require a closure of one lane and will take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. The work is scheduled to be completed by October. Weber County Ogden Sept 30-Oct 8: Work is underway on a project to re-pave Washington Boulevard (US-89) from 26th to 36th Street. Ogden City is presently completing utility relocations and replacements. When they have completed this effort, work will commence on curb and gutter work, with crews working from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. each night. Only one lane will remain open in each direction while crews are working at night, with two lanes open during daytime work (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.), so motorists should move into open lanes as they approach this project zone. Local residents and businesses should expect some minor construction-related noise and/or vibrations during completion of this project.
