Constitution Scholar and former Constitution Party Candidate for U.S. Senate Scott Bradley had a lot of of speaking engagements on and around Constitution Day, which was Saturday, September 17. In a KVNU interview, Bradley said, unfortunately, too many people today don’t seem to understand the limits of the powers of the Constitution. He said he finds it tragic that people like U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch have fostered many things that are unconstitutional.”The Violence Against Women Act, for example, it’s not good to be violent against women, absolutely not, but the founding fathers did not delegate the authority for crimes such as that against anybody to the national government,” Bradley explained. “The national government is completely blocked from action in areas like that.”Bradley says although people have been urging him to run for several different offices next year he has not made a decision on whether or not he will get involved.
