Family thanks community for rescuing motorcyclist

We would like to update the community and the media this morning about the condition of Brandon Wright.Brandon was transported Monday afternoon to the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray and was in surgery Monday night to begin recovering from the crash. We are happy to report that he will be OK, having suffered from several broken bones, road rash, and some bruises. Brandon was able to meet with family Monday night, and said he is very humbled, and owes so many people his life.Brandon and our entire family would like to express our deep gratitude to all of the people who stopped at the crash scene on Monday to help rescue Brandon. The fact that so many people would risk their own lives to save Brandon is a testament to the spirit of the community, and we will forever be thankful for these angels saving our son.In time, we hope to be able to thank everyone involved individually, but for now, we offer our sincere appreciation for their help, as well as for the thoughts and prayers of everyone who is thinking of Brandon at this time.Brandon has a long recovery process in front of him, and a large part of that process will be getting rest. We appreciate the story the media is able to share through this event, but ask for understanding as our family supports Brandon’s recovery in these first days after the crash.Thank you,The family of Brandon Wright
