It looks like another expansion for the Lewiston State Bank. Tuesday night Logan Economic Development Director Kirk Jensen told the municipal council the new branch would be located on the northeast corner of 300 South and Main Street. The council is considering a proposed resolution that would provide some incentives as a Downtown Redevelopment Project. Jensen says the Lewiston State Bank first opened its doors in Lewiston in 1905. Since then, branch banks have located in North Logan and Preston, Idaho. Jensen says the proposed new bank will be a very attractive building that would do a lot to spruce up the south end of the city.
