Man vs Mud race has fun getting dirty

If you really like to get dirty, mucky and muddy, then you might want to try the Man vs Mud event on September 3 at the American West Heritage Center. Organizers David Knight and Mike Schaefer were guests on KVNU’s For the People program and talked about their inspiration for the event. “We were just sitting around one day and…these events have taken place all over the country,” Knight said. “We don’t have one here in Cache Valley and we thought, ‘Man, Cache Valley would be a great place to sponsor one of these things, to put one of these things on.’ “We’ve gotten a lot of great feedback, a lot of positive support from the community from the people who are registering, just really excited to be participating in the event that we’ve got.” The event is billed as a 5K course packed with 24 fun obstacles.
