Suzy Bogguss, award-winning country star, to perform at Cache County Fair

The theme for the 2011 Cache County Fair and Rodeo is “There’s Magic in the Fair.” County Clerk Jill Zollinger, who also serves as Fair Manager, says this year’s event opens Thursday at 11 a.m. and continues through Saturday with exhibits, food, entertainment and rodeo performers. On KVNU’s Crosstalk show Monday, Zollinger said once again Browns Amusement is providing the carnival and also sponsoring the headliner entertainment: talented artist Suzy Bogguss. “Some of her best known songs are ‘Out-Bound Plane’, ‘Aces Letting Go’, and ‘I Want to be a Cowboy Sweetheart’,” Zollinger said. “She has three gold albums and six top 10 singles. In the ’90s she won the Academy of Music – Country Music Award for Top New Female Vocalist and the Country Music Association Horizon’s Award.” Zollinger says because of Browns Amusement’s generosity there is no charge for the Suzy Bogguss concert which starts shortly after 8 p.m. on Saturday at the main stage at the fair. The rodeo starts at 8 each night and Thursday is Family Night with special discount prices.
