LOGAN, Utah – Utah State men and women’s track and field teams placed 12 student-athletes on the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2011 Division I all-Academic Track and Field team, with eight Aggie men and four women earning the honors. USU led the Western Athletic Conference with its 12 honorees while Idaho and Nevada each garnered six accolades, New Mexico State was represented with three, Fresno State and Hawai‘i each boasted two awards, and Boise State collected one.Making the team for the USU men were seniors Steven Atkinson, Philip Noble and Clint Silcock along with juniors Daniel Howell and John Johnson, sophomores Eric Follett and Silas Pimentel and freshman Tanner Hunt.
